Surprisingly, despite the onset of colder temperatures, arboriculture remains in full swing during November. It’s an excellent month for various tree maintenance tasks.
It is recommended to prune your trees this month. Any harmful, dead, diseased, or hazardous branches should be removed.
In early November, if possible, water your conifers before the first ground freeze and the arrival of harsh winter temperatures.
If there is little to no snow, consider trimming your deciduous hedges, such as honeysuckle hedges.
Wrap your conifers with twine to reduce the risk of deformation due to the weight of snow.
You can also install winter protection to help preserve the health of your trees during the colder months. These protective measures prevent significant damage to your valuable plants. Additionally, consider snow removal to prevent excess accumulation.
