Soil analysis
Soil analysis consists of taking soil samples from the suspected area and then sending them to a laboratory. Soil analysis will allow us to highlight all the properties of the soil, more specifically :
- Physical properties (water and air transfer);
- Chemical properties (ion retention, pH);
- Biological properties (microorganism activity).
We also obtain precise data on its composition, for example:
- Particle size (granulometry);
- Structure;
- Porosity.
The soil is extremely important and often even neglected when diagnoses are performed on plants. Soil analysis is fundamental for establishing a plan or an assessment.
We strongly recommend soil analysis before planting anything to ensure optimal growth for the plants being installed and to make informed choices. A declining tree or one in poor condition can also be a strong indicator that a soil analysis is necessary. The analysis will provide us with all the essential tools to take action quickly.
It is important to take into consideration that there may be a waiting period to receive the analysis results.
