June: Trees Are in Full Leaf

The warm June temperatures have finally arrived! Favorable weather conditions mean arboriculture is thriving. Trees are now fully leafed out, signaling that plants are in their active growth phase. June is an excellent month for many tree care tasks.

If you're planning to plant a tree this year, do so before the extreme summer heat sets in. Don’t hesitate planting trees benefits us all.

Ensure that all your tree buds have opened. If you notice any abnormalities and are concerned, we recommend consulting a professional.

Pruning is important in June. Remove any harmful, dead, diseased, or hazardous branches.

By the end of June, you can start trimming your cedars.

Refresh existing mulch (2 to 5 cm) or create new mulch zones around your plants. Your trees will thank you for the extra care before summer intensifies.
